Having met and knowing Dave to be a perfectionist, I sent him my F355 Challenge car’s center and side vents to be restored.  They were worse than sticky; they were the La Brea Tar Pits!  My vents were returned beautifully, and perfectly, refinished and laser-etched.  Now I can finally use my vents as they were originally intended without getting my gloves dirty.  Thank-you again, my friend.

Dave took an engineer’s approach to refinishing sticky parts. Using a professional paint system and laser engraving it’s obvious he didn’t set out to half ass this process. With his paint system he gets consistent color and surface texture. The laser engraving is precise, perfect and best of all won’t fall off. When they’re shipped back, they’re packed so nice you’ll think you just got a shipment of new Apple products. Sticky RX has definitely upped the game and won our business.

I sent Sticky RX parts from one of my Ferrari’s, and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and the process. Dave’s communication throughout the process was absolutely top notch, and his meticulous nature ensured that he not only got my parts right, but that he got them perfect. The team at Sticky RX took the time to dismantle my parts, and even caught an inoperable switch. They found a used part for me online, and ordered it on my behalf. My first experience with Dave occurred when I was looking for a replacement for the black plastic frame around my Ferrari F355’s manual shift lever. Mine was cracked. I had started a thread on Ferrari Chat asking if anyone had one they’d be willing to sell. Dave responded he did but first he needed to remove a slight warp across the top using some heat. That worked so it was now ready for refinishing. Since I also had an OEM radio bezel, a LH window switch frame and the center console door unlock switch that needed refinishing, I sent him those and agreed to buy the shift frame. When the parts came back, not only did they look great but were also expertly packed, a nice bonus, something you don’t always see. As soon as I could get them out of my dash, I decided to send him my 3 HVAC vents for refinishing too. As part of the process, this was to include his recently developed laser etching to allow painted white OEM indicator markings instead of decals. Even though I was one of the first to get this new process, the turnaround time was only a little over a week. When they came back, the white arrows and bars on the wheels looked perfect. So did the black refinishing. If anyone is looking to refinish their interior parts, especially the vents, I can highly recommend Dave’s work. Its impeccable, especially with this new laser process. Dave,  When the refinished interior pieces for my 2003 Ferrari 360 arrived I could not believe the finish work that you had achieved on these sticky components. I was almost afraid to touch them !! My restoration project is a 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello, the dash needed to be re-upholstered, so I decided that I should send Sticky RX Refinishing Solutions all my seven trim switches, vents, door handles, glove box lock, window switches, defroster vent plate, hood release, steering column surround. I also had the dash defroster panel refinished, it was not only sticky, but also getting the inside of my windshield dirty with black residue. I was so convinced of the value added of the Sticky RX processes, that I also sent Dave my new Factory sourced OEM Ferrari Vent Rings, and new Ferrari OEM Mirror Triangles, so I that I would not have to worry about them getting sticky in the future.

This is my first Ferrari project, and Dave’s guidance and encouragement has been, and continues to be invaluable. An example of Dave Lelonek’s attention to detail is that he noticed upon receiving my parts, that the “Sport” switch was not the correct switch for a 550, so he sourced the right part and refinished it. My Steering Column Surround  had to be replaced due to cracks and holes, he sourced the parts for me (he got me a good deal, for a difficult part to source) and refinished them, they look brand new. The list goes on, there is a great deal of value added in doing business with Dave, he even helped me find the period correct new OEM Becker Stereo for my car, at a very reasonable price.

Holy Cow!!!! I just got my refinished parts back from Sticky RX. All I can say is damn, these things are little jewels!!! First off, one look at the packing job and it is clear to me that Dave is an engineer. I’ve had Tiffany’s ship diamonds for my wife that weren’t as meticulously packed!! I felt guilty desecrating his work when I unwrapped each piece! Then I finally laid my eyes on the parts and simply cannot believe how perfect they look! Can’t wait to reinstall tomorrow.

I’m very, very happy with the work that Dave has done on my interior parts for three of my Ferrari’s. I think what I like the most about his work is the very rich, smooth finish. The finish feels great and looks fantastic in the car. I love the laser etching on the vents. I sent Sticky RX some parts from my 550 Maranello that had deteriorated badly. Not only did their work exceed my expectations but the finish on all of the parts greatly exceeded the factory standards of the parts when new. I’ve been working with Dave at Sticky RX over the past few weeks to refinish some interior parts on a recently acquired Ferrari 599.
